TOOTH & CLAW is the second in the DS Vicky Dodds books, set in author Ed James’s native Tayside, and is out now in audiobook, narrated by Angus King.

The disappearance of a Dundee-based dog breeder sets DS Vicky Dodds and her team on a desperate hunt through the city and the surrounding Tayside.

But soon other crimes are committed, with clear signs of escalation, and as the perpetrators’ message becomes clearer, Vicky begins to question where her own sympathies lie.

Initially published in 2014 by Thomas & Mercer as SNARED, a new edition was published under the new title in 2018 and the series has grown to five books, with the first – BLOOD & GUTS – being expanded and revised in 2024 ahead of a narration by Angus King. Book 3 will be released on 31st December 2024, with four and five coming early in 2025.
